Mondelēz International is seeking a Supply Planner to manage production planning for specific SKUs on designated manufacturing assets. This role involves mid- and long-term planning through to finite scheduling, working closely with plant operations, suppliers, and demand teams to ensure smooth information flow and operational execution. The planner will be responsible for generating replenishment and production forecasts, optimizing inventory across the supply chain, and aligning supply plans with business objectives. Interaction with plants in Europe (Germany, Spain) and the ANZ region is also part of the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop short- and long-term end-to-end supply chain plans for both internally and externally produced items.
- Achieve KPIs such as customer fill rate targets, maintaining finished goods inventory at or below target levels, and meeting waste reduction goals.
- Conduct root-cause analysis to continuously improve supply plans.
- Maintain data integrity and accuracy within supply planning systems.
- Deliver master and detailed schedules, long-range plans including capacity considerations, and material requirement plans using system tools.
- Support and implement planning improvements to enhance customer fill rates, inventory management, and waste reduction in line with company KPIs.
- Manage the generation and timely publication of replenishment and production forecasting information for the Beverages and Meals categories in the GDM and KSA regions.
- Optimize inventory across the supply chain while ensuring alignment with business plans.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in supply chain planning, preferably within FMCG/CPG industries such as food or other fast-moving sectors where shelf life is a critical factor.
- Experience working within an Integrated Business Planning (IBP) or Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) environment.
- Proficiency in Excel and SAP APO; knowledge of o9 is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to track, reconcile data, and develop management reports to support business decision-making.
- Numeracy and technical skills to ensure data robustness and integrity in high-volume environments.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver on cash, cost, and service level targets.
- Effective change management capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team player mindset.
Preferred Qualifications and Additional Information
- Supply chain certification is considered a plus.
- The role requires no travel and follows Bahrain working hours (Sunday to Thursday).
- No relocation support is available for this position.
