Mondelēz International is seeking a Supply Planner to join their team, focusing on production planning for specific manufacturing assets. This role involves managing mid- and long-term planning through to finite scheduling while collaborating closely with plant operations, suppliers, and demand teams to ensure seamless information flow and operational execution. The planner will be responsible for generating replenishment and production forecasts, optimizing inventory across the supply chain, and aligning supply plans with business objectives. Interaction with plants in the Middle East, Europe, and ANZ regions is also part of the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop short- and long-term end-to-end supply chain plans for products manufactured both internally and externally.
- Achieve key performance indicators such as customer fill rate targets, inventory levels at or below set thresholds, and waste reduction goals.
- Conduct root-cause analysis to drive continuous improvement in supply planning processes.
- Maintain the accuracy and integrity of system data and supply planning information.
- Deliver master and detailed production schedules, long-range plans considering capacity constraints, and material requirement plans using system tools.
- Support and implement planning improvements to enhance customer fill rates, reduce inventory, and minimize waste in line with company KPIs.
- Manage the generation and timely publication of replenishment and production forecasting information, ensuring alignment with business plans.
- Optimize inventory levels across the supply chain while coordinating with plants in Germany, Spain, Australia, and New Zealand.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in supply chain planning, preferably within FMCG or CPG industries, especially those with shelf-life constraints.
- Experience working within Integrated Business Planning (IBP) or Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) environments.
- Proficiency in Excel and SAP APO; experience with o9 platform is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop management reports to support business decisions.
- Numerate and technically skilled to ensure data accuracy and robustness.
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and prioritize key initiatives.
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative team player mindset.
- Experience in change management and delivering results aligned with cash, cost, and service level targets.
Preferred Qualifications and Additional Information
- Supply chain certification is considered a plus.
- The role operates within Bahrain working hours (Sunday to Thursday).
- No relocation support is provided for this position.
- Travel requirements are minimal or not applicable.
