The Surveillance & Security In-Charge is responsible for overseeing CCTV surveillance systems and managing security personnel to maintain a safe and secure workplace. This role demands vigilance, leadership, and discipline to ensure security protocols are effectively implemented. The incumbent will promptly respond to security incidents and emergencies, ensuring a controlled environment at all times.

Key Responsibilities

CCTV Surveillance & Monitoring
- Continuously monitor CCTV cameras and surveillance systems to maintain security coverage.
- Detect and report suspicious activities, unauthorized access, and breaches.
- Retrieve and review CCTV footage for investigations as needed.
- Ensure all cameras, recording devices, and monitoring equipment are fully operational.
- Maintain detailed records of incidents and share relevant footage with authorized management.

Security Guards Supervision
- Lead and coordinate daily activities of security guards.
- Assign duties, manage shifts, and ensure adequate coverage at all entry and exit points.
- Monitor attendance, punctuality, uniform compliance, discipline, and performance of guards.
- Enforce company security protocols and ensure guards perform their duties effectively.
- Conduct regular security briefings and report any misconduct or negligence.

Access Control & Visitor Management
- Ensure only authorized personnel and visitors access the premises.
- Oversee visitor registration, identification checks, and maintain entry/exit logs.
- Monitor movements of visitors, vendors, and contractors within the facility.
- Manage control of keys, access cards, and restricted areas.

Incident Management & Emergency Response
- Respond swiftly to security incidents, alarms, suspicious activities, and emergencies.
- Coordinate with management, emergency services, and law enforcement when necessary.
- Ensure security guards understand and follow emergency evacuation and response procedures.
- Prepare detailed incident reports, document evidence, and suggest corrective measures.
- Work proactively to prevent theft, unauthorized access, property damage, and other security risks.

Security Operations & Reporting
- Conduct routine inspections of office premises for security compliance.
- Maintain daily security logs, visitor registers, incident reports, and guard duty records.
- Report security concerns, equipment malfunctions, and operational gaps to management.
- Recommend improvements in CCTV coverage, access control, and security procedures.
- Handle CCTV recordings and security information with strict confidentiality.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum Intermediate education; relevant security or surveillance certifications preferred.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in security operations, CCTV monitoring, or security supervision.
- Proven experience in leading security guards is essential.
- Practical knowledge of CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR systems, and access control technologies.
- Experience in office, corporate, commercial, or industrial security settings is advantageous.
