The role involves managing IT operations and infrastructure to ensure the delivery of efficient and reliable IT services at SEECS. This includes overseeing multiple teams such as IT Support, Surveillance, Network Support, and Labs & Classrooms, while maintaining the security of IT resources. The position requires the design, development, and deployment of new IT projects for both SEECS and NUST. Additionally, the role demands the formulation and implementation of IT-related policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Ensuring proper maintenance and timely updates of hardware, software, and network systems is a critical part of the job. Budget planning, optimization, and finalization also fall under the responsibilities, along with effective team management to meet organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage IT Support, Surveillance, Network Support, and Labs & Classrooms teams within SEECS.
- Ensure the security and integrity of all IT resources.
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of new IT projects for SEECS and NUST.
- Formulate and implement IT policies and SOPs to standardize operations.
- Oversee maintenance and updates of IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems.
- Plan, optimize, and finalize the IT budget to align with organizational needs.
- Provide leadership and management to IT teams to enhance productivity and service quality.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems from an HEC-recognized university.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a reputable organization.

Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems from an HEC-recognized university.
- 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in a reputable organization.

Candidates must submit scanned copies of all academic and professional documents. The final education certificate or degree must be attested or verified by HEC. Applicants with a third division in their academic record or a weak academic profile may be considered ineligible. Current NUST employees with less than one year of service or without a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their Head of Institution will not be considered. Candidates who are still pursuing the required degree or are medically unfit are also ineligible.

Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for further assessment, including tests and interviews. No travel allowance or daily allowance will be provided for attending these stages. Candidates currently employed in government departments or armed forces must apply through their respective parent organizations. Late or incomplete applications will not be entertained.
