System Administrator

HRBS is currently seeking qualified candidates on behalf of a client for the position of System Administrator. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in managing and supporting diverse server environments, with hands-on experience in both physical and virtual infrastructures. This role requires proficiency in multiple operating systems and cloud platforms, along with a solid understanding of networking and security protocols. The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining system stability, ensuring disaster recovery readiness, and supporting the deployment of web applications and services.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and troubleshoot Windows Server, Linux, and Unix environments to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Perform server troubleshooting and implement disaster recovery procedures for both physical and virtual servers.
- Administer and support virtualization and cloud technologies, including VMware, Hyper-V, Huawei Cloud, AWS, GCP, and Azure platforms.
- Work with DevOps tools and technologies, including Kubernetes and serverless architectures, to streamline deployment and operations.
- Configure and maintain web servers, manage website hosting, and oversee web application deployment processes.
- Handle SSL/TLS certificate management to ensure secure communications and compliance with security standards.
- Manage core server roles and services such as DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and file servers to support organizational IT infrastructure.
- Apply networking knowledge to troubleshoot and optimize network-related issues affecting server environments.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BE/BSc) with a focus on Electronics, Telecommunication, or Computer Engineering.
- Alternatively, a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science or a related field is acceptable.
- Proven experience working with Windows Server, Linux, and Unix systems in a professional capacity.
- Strong understanding of virtualization, cloud computing, and networking fundamentals.
- Familiarity with server roles, security protocols, and web hosting technologies.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, RHCSA, or VCP are highly desirable and will be considered an advantage.
- Exposure to cloud platforms and DevOps practices is a plus, enhancing the ability to manage modern IT environments effectively.
