This role involves managing and maintaining computer hardware, software, and network systems to ensure smooth and efficient operations. The individual will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving technical issues, performing routine maintenance, and coordinating with vendors and IT professionals to address major problems. The position requires hands-on experience with computer testing, installation, repair, and upgrades, as well as the ability to troubleshoot operating system and network-related issues.

Key Responsibilities

- Refer major hardware or software problems and defective products to vendors or technicians for repair and servicing.
- Test computers and verify the proper installation of software applications and programs across various platforms.
- Identify and resolve issues affecting computer operating systems to maintain optimal performance.
- Perform regular maintenance on computers and related equipment to prevent downtime and extend device lifespan.
- Maintain and upgrade computer systems, providing recommendations for necessary hardware or software improvements.
- Manage network maintenance and repair to ensure reliable connectivity and security.
- Repair computers and equipment at the component level, addressing hardware faults directly.
- Coordinate computer maintenance activities with other IT professionals, including senior operations staff, to align efforts and share expertise.
- Troubleshoot routine problems and conduct ongoing maintenance to support uninterrupted computer usage.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience in computer hardware and software troubleshooting and repair.
- Strong knowledge of computer operating systems and network maintenance.
- Ability to test, install, and upgrade various computer applications and programs.
- Skilled in component-level repair of computer equipment.
- Experience coordinating with vendors and IT teams for maintenance and repair tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in diagnosing technical issues.
