Systems Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is well-suited for a Systems Administrator or Engineer eager to deepen their technical skills in cloud architecture, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure. The successful candidate will manage and support Microsoft 365 and Azure environments, implement cybersecurity solutions, and take ownership of complex technical projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and maintain Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
- Lead infrastructure projects, including migrations and modernization efforts.
- Implement cybersecurity best practices and enforce security controls.
- Support Microsoft Intune, Azure Entra ID, and Microsoft Defender platforms.
- Troubleshoot advanced infrastructure and networking issues.
- Participate in security assessments and coordinate remediation activities.
- Collaborate directly with clients to understand their requirements and deliver tailored technology solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and act as an escalation point for technical challenges.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
- Identify and recommend improvements to IT infrastructure and internal processes.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or systems engineering.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration.
- Hands-on experience managing Windows Server environments.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including VPNs, VLANs, firewalls, and switching.
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new customer applications and technologies.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Practical experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Intune and endpoint management solutions.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Defender and related security tools.
- PowerShell scripting and automation capabilities.
- Previous experience working within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
- Relevant certifications such as Security+, AZ-104, AZ-500, or equivalent credentials.
