TAC Engineer Level - II

The TAC Engineer Level II will play a crucial role in providing technical support to corporate clients by diagnosing and resolving network-related issues to ensure uninterrupted service delivery. This position requires effective troubleshooting of customer premises equipment (CPE) such as routers and switches, managing incident tickets, and collaborating with internal teams to maintain high service standards. The role is based onsite in Islamabad and demands a proactive approach to client communication and timely resolution of complaints within established service level agreements (SLAs).

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver prompt technical support and resolve client inquiries efficiently.
- Troubleshoot network issues involving CPE devices including routers and switches.
- Address queries related to last mile media technologies such as Fiber (GPON/Metro), VSAT, and wireless technologies including Radio P2P/P2MP, 4G LTE, and WiFi.
- Ensure all complaints and incidents are resolved within defined SLAs.
- Log, track, and manage incident tickets using the designated system.
- Coordinate with internal teams for escalation and swift resolution of complex issues.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients to uphold service quality.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in network troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of OSI model layers, TCP/IP protocols, switching technologies (including STP and VLANs), and routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and IS-IS.
- Effective troubleshooting skills combined with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- CCNA or CCNP certification or equivalent training is essential.
- Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems, virtual machines, and network security principles.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts as required by operational needs.
