Flipdish is revolutionizing the way independent restaurant and takeaway owners operate by providing powerful, easy-to-use technology solutions supported by genuine human assistance. Our mission is to simplify the complexities of running a restaurant in today’s fast-paced environment, enabling owners to focus on what truly matters.

As a key member of the Talent Acquisition team, you will take full ownership of recruitment for designated roles, primarily supporting our Karachi hub while also contributing to hiring efforts across other Flipdish markets. You will collaborate closely with hiring managers and People teams to attract and secure the right talent, managing the entire recruitment process from role initiation and sourcing to interviews, offers, and onboarding handover. This role demands a proactive, hands-on approach beyond scheduling interviews or administrative tasks. Success involves building robust candidate pipelines, facilitating evidence-based hiring decisions, and delivering an outstanding candidate experience. You will leverage data, AI, and automation to enhance recruitment efficiency without compromising quality, fairness, or confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

- End-to-end recruitment: Manage assigned vacancies from role kickoff through sourcing, screening, interviewing, offering, and handover, with a primary focus on Karachi-based hiring.
- Hiring manager partnerships: Collaborate to define role requirements, candidate profiles, and interview processes. Maintain alignment on priorities, timelines, and decisions, while constructively challenging assumptions and suggesting improvements.
- Candidate pipelines: Develop and sustain strong pipelines through proactive sourcing, targeted outreach, referrals, and managing inbound applications, including engaging passive candidates.
- Screening and assessment: Conduct structured recruiter screens assessing experience, motivation, role fit, and compensation expectations, providing clear, evidence-based recommendations aligned with agreed criteria.
- Candidate experience: Ensure timely communication, well-organized interviews, and consistent follow-up to maintain a professional and positive candidate journey.
- Recruitment records and reporting: Maintain accurate records in Greenhouse, including scorecards and candidate stages. Analyze pipeline data to identify bottlenecks, recommend actions, and highlight challenges or delays early.
- Workflow improvements: Utilize AI, automation, and clear documentation to reduce manual workload and enhance recruitment processes while safeguarding quality, fairness, and confidentiality.

Required Qualifications

- Proven hands-on recruitment experience managing roles independently through the full hiring lifecycle, beyond administrative support.
- Strong sourcing and screening capabilities, including engaging passive candidates and assessing them against defined criteria.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to interact professionally with candidates, hiring managers, and international colleagues.
- Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships, clarify requirements, challenge assumptions constructively, and follow up on hiring decisions.
- Highly organized with the capacity to manage multiple vacancies, prioritize competing demands, and take ownership without repeated prompting.
- Comfortable with technology and AI tools, demonstrating practical use of digital resources to improve recruitment outcomes and a willingness to learn new systems.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), maintaining reliable records and adhering to structured hiring and approval processes with attention to detail.
- Capability to interpret recruitment pipeline metrics and conversion rates to recommend practical next steps.
- Sound judgment and discretion in handling sensitive candidate information and hiring discussions.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

Experience in SaaS, technology, or high-growth environments, and hiring across diverse functions such as customer support, commercial, technical, product, or corporate roles is advantageous. Familiarity with the Karachi/Pakistan talent market, as well as recruitment exposure in the UK, Ireland, or other international markets, is a plus. Hands-on knowledge of Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter, and Notion, along with experience building AI-assisted workflows or recruitment automations, will help you stand out. Additional strengths include creating recruitment dashboards, reporting tools, templates, process documentation, and enhancing candidate experience, employer branding, or referral programs.

We offer a competitive salary and exceptional opportunities for career growth within a dynamic startup environment. Benefits include 24 days of annual leave plus public holidays and company days, private healthcare with OPD and IPD coverage, company-provided pick-and-drop transport, and quarterly team meet-ups and company events.
