Flipdish is revolutionizing the way independent restaurant and takeaway owners operate by providing them with powerful, easy-to-use technology solutions supported by genuine human assistance. Our mission is to simplify restaurant management in an increasingly complex world, enabling owners to focus on what matters most.

As part of the Talent Acquisition team, you will take full ownership of recruitment for assigned roles, primarily supporting our Karachi hub while also assisting with hiring across other Flipdish markets. You will collaborate closely with hiring managers and People colleagues to attract and secure the right talent, managing the entire recruitment lifecycle from role initiation and sourcing to interviews, offers, and handover. This role requires hands-on involvement beyond administrative tasks, focusing on building strong candidate pipelines, enabling evidence-based hiring decisions, and delivering an exceptional candidate experience. You will leverage data, AI, and automation to enhance recruitment effectiveness without compromising quality, fairness, or confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end recruitment for assigned vacancies, with a primary focus on Karachi hiring, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offering, and handover to People Operations.
- Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, establish candidate profiles, design interview processes, and maintain alignment on priorities, timelines, and decisions. Challenge assumptions constructively and propose process improvements.
- Build and maintain robust candidate pipelines through proactive sourcing, targeted outreach, referrals, and managing inbound applications, including engaging passive candidates.
- Conduct structured recruiter screens assessing experience, motivation, role fit, and compensation expectations, providing clear, evidence-based recommendations aligned with agreed criteria.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience by maintaining timely communication, organizing interviews efficiently, and following up consistently throughout the hiring process.
- Maintain accurate recruitment records, scorecards, candidate stages, and documentation within the applicant tracking system. Use pipeline data and conversion metrics to identify bottlenecks, recommend actions, and highlight market challenges early.
- Drive workflow improvements by integrating AI, automation, and clear documentation to reduce manual effort while preserving recruitment quality, fairness, and confidentiality.

Required Qualifications

- Proven hands-on recruitment experience managing roles independently through the full hiring lifecycle, beyond scheduling or administrative support.
- Strong sourcing and screening capabilities, including engaging passive candidates and assessing them against defined criteria.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to interact professionally with candidates, hiring managers, and international colleagues.
- Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships, clarify requirements, challenge assumptions constructively, and follow up on hiring decisions confidently.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple vacancies, prioritize competing demands, and take ownership without repeated prompting.
- Comfortable with technology and AI tools, demonstrating practical experience using digital solutions to improve recruitment processes and a willingness to learn new systems.
- Proficient in applicant tracking systems, maintaining reliable records, and adhering to structured hiring and approval processes with attention to detail.
- Skilled at interpreting recruitment pipeline activity and conversion rates to recommend practical next steps.
- Exercising sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive candidate information and hiring discussions.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

Preferred experience includes recruitment within SaaS, technology, or high-growth companies, and hiring across diverse functions such as customer support, commercial, technical, product, or corporate roles. Familiarity with the Karachi/Pakistan talent market and exposure to recruitment in the UK, Ireland, or other international markets is advantageous. Hands-on experience with Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter, and Notion, as well as building AI-assisted recruitment workflows or automations beyond message drafting, will help you stand out. Experience creating recruitment dashboards, reporting tools, templates, or process documentation, along with improving candidate experience, employer branding, or referral programs, is also beneficial.

Flipdish offers a competitive salary and exceptional opportunities for career growth within a dynamic startup environment. Benefits include 24 days of annual leave plus public holidays and company days, private healthcare coverage (OPD and IPD), company-provided transport services, and quarterly team meet-ups and company events.

The interview process includes a recruiter screening call, two hiring manager interviews, a competency or technical assessment, and reference checks.

At Flipdish, we prioritize ownership, clarity, and a people-focused culture. We value transparency, encourage growth with balance, and emphasize impact and team energy over visibility. You will work closely with talented colleagues across teams and be trusted to contribute meaningfully as Flipdish scales, helping independent restaurant owners thrive through innovative technology and human support.
