Tax Officer (Female)

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Female Tax Officer to join our team in Lahore on a full-time, on-site basis. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Pakistan’s taxation system and statutory compliance requirements. This role involves managing tax filings, regulatory compliance, and liaising with government authorities to ensure all tax-related matters are handled efficiently and accurately. The position offers a competitive monthly salary of up to PKR 50,000.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and file Personal and Corporate Income Tax Returns accurately and on time.
- Manage Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) matters, including Income Tax, Sales Tax, withholding tax, and responding to tax notices.
- Conduct monthly and annual tax reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Ensure timely submission of all statutory returns and adherence to compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with government authorities regarding tax-related issues and maintain effective communication.
- Assist in tax planning activities and prepare necessary compliance documentation.
- Maintain comprehensive tax records and provide support during audits when required.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related fields such as ACCA, CA (Part Qualified), or ICMA.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in taxation and statutory compliance.
- Strong knowledge of FBR IRIS system, Income Tax, Sales Tax, and withholding tax regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent analytical skills combined with effective communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience with Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) matters.
- Familiarity with EOBI, PESSI/Social Security compliance.
- Knowledge of SECP compliance requirements.
- Understanding of payroll taxation and withholding tax processes.
