Our client, National Bank of Pakistan, one of the largest and most reputable financial institutions in the country, is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional for the position of Team Lead - CBA Operations - Loan (AVP) based in Karachi. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing core banking loan operations, ensuring seamless service delivery and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day production support of Core Banking Loan, Asset, and Financing modules across all branches.
- Conduct thorough issue analysis, ensuring data accuracy and process efficiency, particularly in loan servicing, EMI adjustments, and foreign exchange profit calculations.
- Facilitate effective cross-functional coordination to resolve issues related to Core Banking loan modules and products.
- Collaborate with the Development Team, vendors, and relevant business units to perform root cause analysis and ensure timely resolution of operational issues.
- Ensure strict compliance with State Bank of Pakistan regulations, internal policies, audit observations, and operational risk controls.
- Troubleshoot operational and technical issues related to banking applications in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of user manuals, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and routine processes for daily and periodic departmental operations.
- Perform any additional assignments as directed by supervisors.

Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent field. Alternatively, a Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline from an HEC-recognized local or international university/institute.
- At least 6 years of professional experience in IT, including a minimum of 4 years specifically in Core Banking Applications operations with a focus on loan products.
- Proven expertise in providing first-level technical and operational support for Core Banking Applications across multiple platforms.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel, including formulas, data preparation, and consolidation.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve root causes of business application issues.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and engage with various stakeholders.

- Employment will be on a contractual basis for three years, with the possibility of renewal at management’s discretion.
