Team Lead - Field Operations

JazzWorld is seeking a dedicated Team Lead Field Operations to manage the end-to-end operations of telecom sites within a designated Micro Business Unit (MBU) in Islamabad. This role is critical to ensuring network performance, site profitability, and customer satisfaction by overseeing site operations, resolving issues promptly, and coordinating effectively with various internal teams and external vendors. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in telecom operations, particularly in BSS, Transmission, and Power systems, and will be responsible for maintaining high standards of network performance across 2G, 3G, and 4G technologies.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor MBU performance and operational activities to ensure seamless site functioning.
- Provide hands-on troubleshooting support across BSS, Transmission (TXN), and Power systems.
- Track and analyze 2G/3G/4G KPIs such as DCR, CSSR, and TCH Blocking, driving corrective actions to meet targets.
- Conduct regular audits and quality checks within BSS, TXN, and Power domains.
- Collaborate with Sales teams to address and resolve customer complaints promptly.
- Coordinate with Operations & Maintenance teams and vendors to ensure timely Preventive and Corrective Maintenance of both Telco and Non-Telco infrastructure.
- Assign tasks and oversee the timely execution of operational and project-related activities.
- Work closely with NOC, RFO, Planning, Logistics, Deployment, Warehouse, and other departments to resolve cross-functional challenges.
- Manage vendor invoice processing and ATP approvals within established deadlines.
- Prepare detailed operational and performance reports for management review.
- Liaise with OMOs and vendors to resolve issues at infrastructure-sharing sites.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Telecom Operations & Maintenance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong technical knowledge of BSS, Transmission, and Power systems, with a solid understanding of 2G/3G/4G KPIs.
- Practical experience working with Ericsson Transmission equipment and familiarity with Ericsson and ZTE telecom equipment.
- Excellent analytical, coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to manage network issues efficiently.
- Willingness to work on a 24/7 basis, including public holidays, as an emergency resource.
