Team Lead - Field Operations

JazzWorld is seeking a dedicated Team Lead Field Operations to oversee the end-to-end management of telecom sites within a designated Micro Business Unit (MBU) based in Sukkur. This role is critical in ensuring optimal network performance through reliable site operations, swift issue resolution, and effective collaboration with various teams and partners. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining contractual obligations, addressing customer complaints, and achieving network performance and site profitability targets. Close coordination with Operations & Maintenance teams, vendors, Sales, and other internal stakeholders is essential to resolve operational challenges and sustain high network standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor MBU performance and operational activities to ensure seamless site functioning.
- Provide hands-on troubleshooting for BSS, Transmission (TXN), and Power systems.
- Track 2G/3G/4G KPIs such as DCR, CSSR, and TCH Blocking, driving corrective actions to meet targets.
- Conduct regular audits and quality checks across BSS, TXN, and Power domains.
- Collaborate with Sales teams to promptly resolve customer complaints.
- Follow up with Operations & Maintenance teams and vendors on Preventive and Corrective Maintenance for both Telco and Non-Telco elements.
- Assign tasks to teams and ensure timely execution of operational and project requirements.
- Coordinate with NOC, RFO, Planning, Logistics, Deployment, Warehouse, and other departments to address cross-functional issues.
- Process vendor invoices and Acceptance Test Procedures (ATPs) within stipulated timelines.
- Prepare operational and performance reports for management review.
- Work closely with Other Mobile Operators (OMOs) and vendors to resolve issues at infrastructure-sharing sites.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Telecom Operations and Maintenance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong technical expertise in BSS, Transmission, and Power systems.
- In-depth knowledge of 2G/3G/4G KPIs.
- Hands-on experience with Ericsson Transmission equipment and familiarity with Ericsson/ZTE equipment.
- Excellent analytical, coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- Customer-centric approach to resolving network issues.
- Willingness to work around the clock, including public holidays, as an emergency resource.
