Team lead

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Admissions Manager to lead our university admissions team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving enrollment targets, optimizing applicant conversion rates, and ensuring smooth daily operations within the admissions department. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills who can mentor staff, manage complex inquiries, and collaborate effectively across departments to support institutional goals.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, mentor, and motivate the admissions team to consistently meet or exceed seasonal enrollment targets while optimizing applicant conversion rates.
- Oversee daily admission operations, ensuring all student inquiries, application processing, and follow-ups are handled efficiently and professionally.
- Develop and implement strategic student recruitment plans, coordinating with staff for campus open houses, educational expos, and outreach events.
- Monitor individual and team performance metrics, conduct regular training sessions, and provide actionable feedback to admission officers.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for complex admission inquiries, resolving concerns from prospective students or their families.
- Ensure strict adherence to institutional admission policies, enrollment criteria, and documentation standards by the team.
- Collaborate with the marketing department to align promotional campaigns with intake objectives and track the effectiveness of lead generation efforts.
- Manage and audit the applicant tracking system (CRM) to maintain data integrity, accurate lead assignment, and streamlined workflows.

Required Qualifications

- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Educational Leadership, Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 4-5 years of progressive experience in university admissions or educational recruitment, including at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
- Proven track record of driving team performance and successfully achieving institutional enrollment goals.
- Exceptional leadership, conflict resolution, and team-building skills.
- Advanced proficiency in CRM software, student database systems, and performance tracking tools.
