Team Lead Manager

Dawood Family Takaful Ltd (DFTL), a leading pioneer in Pakistan’s Family Takaful (Islamic life insurance) sector, is seeking a dedicated Team Lead Manager to join its Gujranwala office. The Team Lead Manager will play a critical role in driving business growth, ensuring excellent service delivery, and fostering strong relationships with customers and partners.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and guide a sales or operations team to meet and exceed business targets within the Family Takaful segment.
- Develop and implement strategies aimed at expanding the customer base and enhancing service quality.
- Monitor team performance regularly, providing coaching, training, and support to improve skills and productivity.
- Ensure strict compliance with company policies, Islamic financial principles, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and present detailed performance reports to senior management, aligning team goals with organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to contribute to the formulation and execution of market-specific strategies.
- Foster a collaborative, ethical, and customer-centric work environment that supports sustainable growth and long-term loyalty.

Required Qualifications

- Proven leadership and team management experience, including mentoring, performance evaluation, and conflict resolution.
- Strong skills in sales, business development, and customer relationship management, preferably within financial services or insurance sectors.
- Good understanding of Islamic financial principles and Takaful concepts, or a willingness to learn and apply these in daily operations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation abilities, capable of engaging with diverse customers and stakeholders effectively.
- Competence in planning, organizing, and reporting, with proficiency in basic office software and data management tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related discipline; relevant professional certifications will be considered an advantage.
- Prior experience in insurance, Takaful, banking, or related financial services, ideally in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Ability to work on-site in Gujranwala and adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment while maintaining high ethical and professional standards.
