Tech Lead – Software Development

Consultancy Outfit is seeking a skilled Technical Lead to join their team in Lahore. This full-time, on-site position offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects alongside experienced professionals in a dynamic environment that values creativity, initiative, and technical excellence. The role involves full-stack development, including both back-end and front-end tasks, with a focus on delivering high-quality software solutions using modern technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of developers to ensure timely delivery of robust software products.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather and define project requirements and technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation to support development and deployment processes.
- Enforce best practices in software development, including conducting code reviews, testing, and managing deployments.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and tools to enhance development efficiency and product quality.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software components.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Development, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in software development.
- At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role managing development teams.
- Proficiency in ReactJS and NodeJS for front-end and back-end development.
- Strong understanding of Agile software development methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience designing and working with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
- Competence in database design and management, covering both SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Awareness of security best practices in software development.
- Proven ability to lead and manage remote teams effectively.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal communication skills.

This role requires a proactive leader who can drive technical excellence while fostering a collaborative team environment. The position operates on-site in Lahore with working hours from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
