Technical Business Analyst

8Cloud Technologies is seeking a skilled Technical Business Analyst to join their team in Karachi on an onsite basis. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams by understanding client objectives, defining precise requirements, and collaborating closely with delivery teams to develop effective digital solutions. This role demands strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to ask insightful questions that influence project success. The working hours for this position are from 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM, and it is a full-time opportunity requiring 5 to 7 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead requirement-gathering sessions with clients and internal stakeholders to capture business goals, processes, challenges, and expected outcomes.
- Translate business needs into clear functional and technical requirements, including user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and other essential project documentation.
- Analyze requirements to identify gaps, dependencies, risks, and areas needing clarification before development begins.
- Collaborate with developers, designers, QA teams, and project managers to ensure a shared understanding of project scope and expected functionality.
- Participate in solution discussions and evaluate whether proposed approaches align with business requirements.
- Maintain and update requirements throughout the project lifecycle, documenting changes and their impact on scope and timelines.
- Review designs and completed features against approved requirements, supporting QA and user acceptance testing phases.
- Communicate progress, decisions, and outstanding questions clearly to both clients and internal teams.

Required Qualifications

- 5 to 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst, preferably within software development or digital solutions environments.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, Agile methodologies, and requirement documentation best practices.
- Proven ability to write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, functional specifications, and process flows.
- Confidence in engaging with clients to discuss requirements and explaining technical details to development teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage stakeholder discussions professionally.
- Exceptional attention to detail, capable of identifying unclear requirements, inconsistencies, and potential issues early in the process.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
