UST is seeking a Technical Program Manager (TPM) with a strong engineering background in Embedded Systems and Firmware to lead silicon enablement and system integration programs. This role involves driving end-to-end program execution, from silicon bring-up through post-silicon validation, firmware release, and customer delivery. The ideal candidate will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage risks and issues, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders to ensure successful program outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage programs spanning hardware, firmware, operations, suppliers, and cloud service teams, ensuring alignment of goals and schedules across all functions.
- Drive the complete lifecycle of silicon enablement, including silicon bring-up, post-silicon validation, firmware releases, and customer delivery.
- Coordinate hardware engineering activities across electrical, mechanical, firmware, and validation teams to meet program milestones.
- Identify technical risks, resource constraints, and silicon errata early, and implement effective mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
- Maintain clear and up-to-date program roadmaps, status reports, and risk dashboards for engineering leads and leadership teams.
- Support root-cause investigations, ensure timely closure of technical issues, and drive improvements in reliability and serviceability.
- Facilitate effective communication and alignment among engineering, operations, suppliers, and leadership to promote transparency and collaboration.
- Own program schedules, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and executive reporting to ensure timely and quality delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Strong technical background in Embedded Systems and Firmware development.
- Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional technical programs, preferably in silicon enablement or hardware development environments.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams across multiple disciplines including silicon design, firmware/BSP, post-silicon validation, and hardware applications.
- Excellent risk management skills with the ability to identify and mitigate technical and resource-related risks effectively.
- Strong communication skills to maintain stakeholder engagement and provide clear program visibility through reports and dashboards.
- Experience coordinating hardware engineering efforts across electrical, mechanical, firmware, and validation domains.
- Ability to drive root-cause analysis and resolution of technical issues to improve product reliability and serviceability.
Preferred Qualifications and Additional Information
- Experience with Business Operations, Observability, New Product Introduction, Risk Management, Hardware Development, Hardware Architecture, Firmware Development, BMC, and BIOS is advantageous.
