We are seeking a Technical Recruiter to join our Staff Augmentation team, specializing in high-volume, fast-paced agency recruiting. This role focuses on sourcing and placing IT infrastructure professionals, including Data Center Engineers, NOC Technicians, and L1/L2 Hardware Support specialists, directly into client sites. Unlike traditional corporate HR positions, this role demands speed, accuracy, and a deep understanding of technical recruiting within the IT hardware space.
Key Responsibilities
Full-Cycle Recruiting: Manage the entire recruitment process from requisition intake through offer negotiation and onboarding for contract, contract-to-hire, and permanent positions.
Sourcing: Leverage niche job boards such as Dice, ClearanceJobs, and LinkedIn Recruiter to identify both active and passive candidates with specific hardware skills like server decommissioning, cable management, and hardware troubleshooting.
Technical Screening: Assess candidates’ technical abilities. While engineering expertise is not required, you must differentiate roles such as Network Admin versus Data Center Technician.
Staff Augmentation Focus: Develop and maintain a pipeline of “ready-to-deploy” engineers who can quickly integrate into client data centers.
High-Volume Pipeline Management: Efficiently screen a large number of resumes daily, balancing speed with accuracy.
Client Coordination: Collaborate closely with Account Managers to understand hardware requirements involving vendors like Cisco, Juniper, Dell, and HP, as well as any necessary security clearance criteria.
Nightshift Operations: Address urgent “break-fix” hiring needs during night shifts to ensure continuous data center uptime for clients.
Required Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Technical Recruiting, preferably within a staffing agency or IT services environment.
Domain Knowledge: Strong familiarity with IT hardware and data center infrastructure terminology. Understanding of concepts such as “Smart Hands” and basic networking is essential.
Shift Flexibility: Willingness and availability to work consistent night shifts.
Tool Proficiency: Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Boolean search techniques for sourcing candidates.
Mindset: Self-motivated, highly organized, and resilient. You recognize that in staff augmentation, speed and responsiveness are critical to success.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Candidates with prior experience recruiting for IT infrastructure roles such as Data Center Engineers (rack & stack, cabling, power distribution, cooling), NOC Engineers (L1/L2 network monitoring and incident response), Hardware Support Technicians (desktop support, break/fix, asset management), and Field Service Engineers (on-site hardware repair and installation) will excel in this position.
This is a full-time, in-person role offering a competitive monthly salary range of Rs70,000 to Rs140,000, commensurate with experience and performance.
If you thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced recruiting environment and have a passion for IT infrastructure staffing, this opportunity offers a challenging and rewarding career path.
