We are looking for a skilled Technical Recruiter to join our team and manage the full recruitment lifecycle within the IT sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and executing effective recruiting strategies, sourcing and evaluating candidates, and ensuring a smooth onboarding process. This role demands strong organizational abilities, solid technical understanding, and a collaborative approach to help position the company as an employer of choice. The position is full-time, based in Karachi, follows a hybrid work model, and requires working evening hours.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement comprehensive recruiting strategies that align with organizational objectives. Develop and update job descriptions and specifications to accurately reflect current needs. Conduct job and task analyses to document detailed job requirements and goals. Prepare and post job openings across relevant job boards, newspapers, and educational institutions. Source candidates through resume databases, social media, and other channels. Screen resumes and applications to shortlist qualified candidates. Conduct interviews using validated personnel selection tools while adhering to scheduled timelines. Assess candidates’ technical knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitudes. Facilitate onboarding to ensure new hires integrate effectively into the organization. Monitor and apply best practices in recruitment to meet submission deadlines. Provide detailed and analytical recruitment reports to the team. Act as a primary point of contact, building strong relationships with candidates throughout the hiring process. Promote the company’s reputation as a preferred workplace. Collaborate with colleagues to refine and improve recruitment processes. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Between 1 to 3 years of experience in technical recruitment, preferably within the IT industry. Familiarity with technical roles such as software development, network engineering, and IT support. Strong understanding of technical terminology, programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively screen and evaluate technical resumes and candidates. Knowledge of diverse sourcing techniques and experience with technical assessments. Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail, capable of managing multiple roles simultaneously.
Additional Information
This is a full-time position based in Karachi with a hybrid work model. The working hours are from 5:45 PM to 2:15 AM. The salary range for this role is between Rs70,000 and Rs120,000 per month. Candidates must be able to commute to the office location and be comfortable working the specified evening shift. Fluency in English is required.
