Technical Sales & Support Engineer

The Technical Sales & Support Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Lahore. The primary focus is to interact with existing and prospective customers to understand their technical requirements and develop tailored proposals. The engineer will present solutions related to switchgears, transformers, solar systems, and associated products. Responsibilities include delivering pre- and post-sales technical support, conducting product demonstrations, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating closely with engineering and production teams to address customer concerns. Daily activities involve managing sales inquiries, assisting with tender and bid processes, maintaining accurate sales records, and ensuring timely follow-up to enhance customer satisfaction. The role may also require site visits for inspections, commissioning support, and providing technical training to both customers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to gather and analyze technical requirements for electrical products and systems.
- Prepare and present detailed proposals and solutions for switchgears, transformers, and solar energy products.
- Provide technical support before and after sales, including product demonstrations and troubleshooting.
- Coordinate with engineering and production departments to resolve technical issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Manage sales inquiries and support tender and bidding processes efficiently.
- Maintain accurate documentation of sales activities and customer interactions.
- Conduct site visits for inspections, commissioning assistance, and technical training sessions.

Required Qualifications
- Strong skills in Technical Sales and Sales Operations, including managing inquiries, proposals, and customer relationships.
- Proficiency in Technical Sales Support and Technical Support to handle pre- and post-sales queries and product-related challenges.
- Solid analytical abilities to interpret technical specifications, system requirements, and customer needs effectively.
- A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of medium and low voltage switchgears, transformers, solar energy systems, and industrial electrical equipment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and maintain a customer-focused approach.
