BoxTech is seeking a skilled Technical Support Engineer with experience or strong knowledge in GPS tracking, IoT, vehicle telematics, and device integration. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in configuring, testing, and troubleshooting telematics devices while supporting seamless integration with tracking and fleet management platforms. This position involves close collaboration with customers during testing phases, proof of concept (POC), and deployment, ensuring technical issues are resolved efficiently to maintain high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Configure, test, and troubleshoot GPS and telematics devices to ensure optimal performance.
- Support the integration of devices with tracking and fleet management platforms.
- Assist customers throughout testing, POC, and deployment stages, providing technical guidance.
- Troubleshoot communication protocols and connectivity issues including TCP/UDP, MQTT, SIM/APN, server connectivity, and device communication.
- Work with various technologies such as GPS/GNSS, GSM/LTE, BLE, CAN Bus, RS232, RS485, UART, sensors, and I/O interfaces.
- Coordinate with hardware manufacturers to resolve firmware, command, and technical challenges.
- Prepare comprehensive technical guides, reports, and troubleshooting documentation to support internal teams and customers.
- Collaborate with the sales team by providing technical evaluations and support for customer projects.

Required Qualifications

- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in technical support or engineering roles related to GPS tracking, telematics, or IoT.
- Degree or diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or Embedded Systems Engineering.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers, vendors, and internal teams.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Skills

- Familiarity with network analysis tools such as Wireshark.
- Experience working with APIs and programming languages including Python and C/C++.
- Knowledge of embedded systems development and debugging.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
