Technical Support Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Technical Support Engineer. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or candidates with some experience who are eager to develop their skills in system installation, network configuration, and database management. The position requires working onsite in Model Town, Lahore, providing direct support to clients by troubleshooting issues and ensuring smooth system operations. Full training will be provided to help you grow professionally in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist clients with system installations, account setup, and basic network configuration.
- Manage and deploy databases, scripts, and configurations with guidance and training.
- Escalate unresolved technical issues to internal teams such as developers and system administrators.
- Communicate effectively with clients through online meetings and messaging platforms, guiding them step-by-step to resolve problems.
- Log, track, and prioritize open issues, providing timely updates to clients and internal teams.
- Follow up with clients to confirm that systems are fully functional after troubleshooting.
- Document technical solutions in manuals, FAQs, and reports for future reference.
- Maintain professional and positive relationships with clients to ensure high satisfaction levels.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related IT fields is mandatory. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Basic knowledge of databases such as MS SQL Server and MySQL.
- Familiarity with IIS Server configuration.
- Fundamental understanding of networking concepts including LAN/WAN setup, IP configuration, and connectivity troubleshooting.
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
- Ability to explain technical information clearly and simply to non-technical users.
- Strong team player with a detail-oriented approach to work.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Previous experience as a Technical Support Engineer for up to 2 years is preferred but not required.
- This is a full-time position with internship opportunities available.
- The role offers a monthly salary of up to Rs35,000.
- Work location is onsite in Model Town, Lahore, requiring candidates to be willing to work from this location.
