Key Responsibilities

- Incident Management: Handle basic to moderate production support tasks, including managing incidents and escalating issues to higher support levels when necessary.
- Problem Management: Identify and resolve problems by applying a thorough understanding of the application, its functionality, and the underlying technology to deliver effective solutions.
- Change Management: Implement and oversee changes to production processing with minimal disruption to services, ensuring smooth transitions.
- Monitoring Production Processing: Continuously monitor production environments to detect potential issues early and take proactive measures to prevent incidents.
- ITIL Framework Adherence: Perform all support activities in alignment with ITIL best practices, maintaining high-quality standards across incident, problem, and change management processes.

Required Qualifications

- Database Management Knowledge: Familiarity with database concepts such as data modeling, normalization, and querying techniques.
- Operating System Experience: Practical experience with various operating systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Programming Skills: Exposure to multiple programming languages, understanding syntax, data types, and control structures.
- ITIL Framework Understanding: Knowledge of ITIL processes, particularly incident, problem, and change management.
- Production Support Experience: Proven ability to perform and manage production support tasks, including monitoring and escalating issues appropriately.

Preferred Qualifications

- Advanced Database Skills: Experience with advanced database management topics such as data warehousing, ETL processes, and performance tuning is advantageous.
- Scripting Languages: Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or PowerShell to automate routine tasks and enhance operational efficiency.
- Cloud Platform Familiarity: Understanding of cloud platforms, including deployment, scaling, and security aspects, to better manage production support in hybrid environments.
