Robust Support & Solutions is looking for a dedicated Technical Support Specialist to join our team on a night shift basis at our Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Block 14 location. This full-time, on-site position operates from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM, six days a week. The ideal candidate will be a tech-savvy problem solver with a strong focus on efficiency and cost control. This role is vital in ensuring smooth retail operations while driving smarter spending decisions to optimize overall expenses.
Key Responsibilities
Provide remote technical support via phone and video channels, troubleshooting internet, network, and connectivity issues promptly. You will resolve technical problems related to alarm systems and ShopperTrak, managing and prioritizing daily support tickets to ensure timely resolution. Coordination with Internet Service Providers (ISPs) during outages and dispatching support teams when necessary is essential. You will diagnose cabling and in-store connectivity issues effectively, track service outages, and claim service credits to reduce business impact. Additionally, analyzing monthly subscriptions and utility bills to identify cost-saving opportunities is a key part of the role. You will identify and eliminate unnecessary or high-cost services to optimize expenses and collaborate with accounts teams to investigate and resolve unknown charges. The position requires optimizing operational expenses without compromising store performance.
Required Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field is preferred. Candidates should have a minimum of two years’ experience in IT support, helpdesk, or network troubleshooting. A strong understanding of networking concepts, internet diagnostics, and cabling is necessary. Excellent communication skills with fluency in English are required, along with the ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and solve problems efficiently. Willingness to work on-site during night shifts is mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience supporting retail IT environments is considered a plus. An analytical mindset with a focus on cost optimization will be highly valued. The role offers a competitive salary ranging from Rs80,000 to Rs100,000 per month.
