Technology Lead

We are seeking a full-time Technology Lead to join our team on-site in Islamabad, Pakistan. This role involves taking full ownership of the technical direction and architecture of Maktab, a comprehensive platform designed to support student records, ERP systems, classrooms, and AI-driven tutoring solutions. The ideal candidate will lead and expand the engineering team, oversee integrations and platform scalability, and establish best practices for AI coding to ensure high-quality software development.

Key Responsibilities
- Define and drive the technical strategy and architecture for the Maktab platform.
- Lead, mentor, and grow the engineering team to enhance productivity and technical expertise.
- Manage and guide the integration of various systems within the platform, ensuring seamless operation.
- Oversee platform scalability to support increasing user demands and feature expansion.
- Set and enforce coding standards and best practices, particularly focused on AI development and implementation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business goals.
- Monitor emerging technologies and incorporate relevant advancements to maintain a competitive edge.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in software development.
- At least 3 years of experience leading engineering teams or owning technical architecture.
- Strong background in designing and implementing scalable software platforms.
- Proven expertise in AI coding practices and integrating AI solutions within software products.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Ability to work full-time on-site in Islamabad during morning shifts.
