Tekla Steel Detailer, Lahore

Struvek specializes in engineering drafting, BIM modeling, and coordination services for AEC firms, primarily focusing on structural building projects. The company is expanding into steel detailing and additional engineering disciplines. Key Responsibilities
- Build detailed 3D steel models using Tekla Structures based on structural drawings, including beams, columns, braces, plates, connections, bolts, and welds.
- Produce erection plans, assembly drawings, single-part drawings, and bills of material for structural steel projects.
- Detail steel connections in compliance with AISC standards and engineer specifications.
- Generate NC files and fabrication reports when required.
- Coordinate steel models with Revit structural models and resolve any clashes.
- Respond promptly to review comments by revising drawings and provide daily progress updates.

Required Qualifications
- 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience with Tekla Structures in structural steel detailing.
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of steel connections and standards for shop and erection drawings.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Revit is an advantage.
- A portfolio or sample drawings demonstrating previous work is mandatory.
- Good written English skills for clear task updates.
- Availability to work on-site in Lahore.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience working on US steel projects and familiarity with AISC standards is highly desirable.
- Ability to create custom components and macros within Tekla Structures.
- Knowledge of miscellaneous metals, stairs, and railings detailing.
- Experience with Navisworks or IFC model coordination is a plus.
