Telecom Quantity Surveyor

This is a full-time, permanent position based remotely in Pakistan, aligned with UK working hours from Monday to Friday. The role focuses on managing commercial and quantity surveying functions within the telecom sector, supporting large-scale UK telecom rollout projects. The successful candidate will work closely with Tier-1 telecom operators and international engineering teams, contributing to cost control, contract management, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage Bills of Quantities (BOQs), Bills of Materials (BOMs), cost estimates, budgets, and quantity take-offs to ensure accurate project costing.
- Monitor project costs, profit and loss (P&L), and overall profitability throughout the project lifecycle.
- Handle variations, change orders, and final account reconciliation to maintain financial accuracy and project compliance.
- Support tendering processes, contract management, and implement cost optimization strategies to maximize project value.
- Prepare detailed financial reports and maintain all necessary commercial documentation to support project audits and reviews.

Required Qualifications

- A minimum of 7 years of experience in telecom Quantity Surveying or commercial management roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a closely related discipline.
- Proven expertise in cost control, BOQ/BOM preparation, variation management, and final account settlements.
- Familiarity with technical documentation and software including TSSR (Technical Site Survey Report), LLD (Low-Level Design), DBOQ (Detailed Bill of Quantities), SID (Site Installation Drawing), and CAD tools.
- Strong analytical abilities combined with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to effectively collaborate across teams.
