The Territory Sales Executive will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding market presence within a designated territory. This role involves developing and implementing effective sales strategies, managing distributor relationships, and ensuring the achievement of sales and distribution targets. The ideal candidate will actively engage with retailers, wholesalers, and consumers to understand market dynamics and identify new business opportunities. Regular market visits and detailed reporting on sales trends and competitor activities are essential components of this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute both primary and secondary sales strategies to meet company sales and distribution goals.
- Expand market coverage by implementing initiatives aimed at growth and increased market presence.
- Manage distributors to ensure their profitability and maintain a healthy return on investment.
- Conduct regular market visits to monitor sales trends, competitor activities, product availability, and customer requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, wholesalers, and distributors to facilitate smooth sales operations.
- Engage directly with consumers to address product-related inquiries and provide appropriate guidance.
- Identify new business opportunities to strengthen the company’s presence within the assigned territory.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive reports detailing territory performance, sales trends, competitor analysis, and market insights.
- Ensure the achievement of assigned sales, distribution, and market coverage targets.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the Edible Oil and Ghee industry is mandatory.
- Proven skills in sales management, negotiation, distribution, and customer relationship management.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, analytical thinking, and time-management abilities.
- Willingness to undertake regular market visits within the assigned territory.
