Textile Designer

We are seeking a talented Textile Designer to join our team, specializing in women's clothing with a focus on eastern wear, luxury prêt, and formal collections. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating innovative textile prints, embroidery designs, and fabric patterns that align with current fashion trends and the brand’s identity. This role involves close collaboration with fashion designers, production teams, and vendors to ensure high-quality execution from concept to final product. The position requires a creative mindset, strong technical skills, and the ability to work full-time from our Lahore office.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop innovative textile prints, patterns, and fabric designs specifically for women's clothing lines.
- Create original embroidery designs, motifs, and surface embellishment concepts to enhance garment aesthetics.
- Conduct thorough research on fashion trends, colors, fabrics, and textile techniques to inform design decisions.
- Design concepts for luxury prêt, formal wear, and eastern wear collections, ensuring each aligns with the brand’s vision.
- Prepare color palettes, mood boards, and detailed textile design presentations to communicate ideas effectively.
- Utilize relevant design software to create digital textile designs and repeat patterns.
- Collaborate closely with fashion designers, pattern makers, and production teams to ensure seamless design implementation.
- Select appropriate fabrics, colors, prints, and embellishments based on collection requirements and quality standards.
- Prepare technical design sheets and detailed artwork to guide production processes accurately.
- Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers for fabric printing, embroidery, and sampling to maintain quality control.
- Review fabric samples and finished designs to ensure accuracy and adherence to brand standards.
- Ensure all designs reflect the brand’s identity, quality expectations, and collection themes consistently.
- Meet project deadlines while maintaining organized records of artwork, samples, and design documentation.

Required Qualifications

- Degree or diploma in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or a related discipline.
- Relevant professional experience in textile or fashion design, with a preference for expertise in women’s eastern wear.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and other relevant design software tools.
- Strong understanding of textile prints, embroidery techniques, color theory, and fabric selection.
- Demonstrated creative thinking, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent trend research capabilities.
- Ability to work full-time from the office located in Lahore.
