Textile Designer

We are seeking a talented and creative Textile Designer based in Lahore, Pakistan, with a minimum of two years of experience in developing print collections for fashion apparel. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of print design principles, including colour combinations, motif development, design tracing, and preparing final artwork ready for production. This role requires someone who can develop cohesive and innovative print collections while maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality throughout the design process.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop creative and cohesive print collections tailored for fashion apparel.
- Design original prints, patterns, motifs, and other textile elements that align with the brand’s aesthetic vision.
- Work on themes, colour palettes, and design variations to ensure a unified collection.
- Accurately trace and recreate designs from references, preserving intricate design details.
- Prepare and deliver final artwork that meets production standards and deadlines.
- Create seamless repeats, pattern layouts, and print placements as required by the collection.
- Refine and revise designs based on feedback and collection requirements.
- Collaborate closely with design and production teams to ensure precise execution of prints.
- Maintain consistency and meticulous attention to detail throughout the entire collection development process.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in textile design, with a focus on print development.
- Proven ability to develop complete and well-coordinated print collections.
- Strong skills in tracing, recreating, and refining textile designs from initial concepts to final artwork.
- Solid understanding of colour theory, print layouts, motifs, and pattern repeats.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, or equivalent tools.
- Excellent creative sense combined with strong attention to detail and effective time-management skills.
- A portfolio demonstrating previous print collections and completed textile designs is highly preferred.
