Ticketing Officer

Al Ghaffar Travel is seeking an experienced and motivated Ticketing Officer to join its B2B team based in DHA Phase 2, Karachi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in airline ticketing, with hands-on experience using major Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Galileo, Sabre, or Amadeus. This role requires proficiency in handling both domestic and international air ticketing processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all transactions. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic travel agency environment, managing ticket issuance and related customer queries professionally.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage ticketing operations including PNR creation, ticket issuance, reissuance, refunds, cancellations, and voids.
- Utilize GDS platforms and web-based airline portals for booking and ticketing purposes.
- Ensure compliance with airline fare rules, taxes, and policies.
- Address and resolve ticketing queries promptly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate records of ticketing transactions and updates.
- Collaborate with team members to support smooth workflow in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications:
- Proven hands-on experience with GDS systems such as Galileo, Sabre, or Amadeus.
- Proficiency in web-based airline portals and direct airline booking systems.
- Strong knowledge of domestic and international air ticketing procedures.
- Expertise in PNR management, ticket issuance, reissuance, refunds, cancellations, and voids.
- Good understanding of airline fares, fare rules, and tax policies.
- Ability to efficiently handle ticketing queries with professionalism.
