We are seeking a skilled Endpoint Systems Engineer to lead and enhance our enterprise endpoint management strategy. In this role, you will focus on improving security, reliability, and automation across Windows, macOS, and iOS devices by leveraging SCCM/MECM, Intune, and other enterprise tools. Key Responsibilities
Platform Administration:
Manage and optimize SCCM/MECM, Intune, Autopilot, and monitoring platforms such as SCOM, Bomgar, and ControlUp. Support hybrid endpoint environments that combine on-premises and cloud infrastructure to ensure secure and scalable operations.
Patching and Compliance:
Design and execute patching strategies for operating systems, applications, and third-party software. Monitor patch deployment and compliance using SCCM/MECM and SCOM, while balancing security requirements with minimal disruption to end users.
Device Management:
Oversee Windows, macOS, and iOS device management through Intune, including device enrollment, compliance policy enforcement, application deployment, and maintaining security baselines.
Automation and Optimization:
Create PowerShell scripts and automation workflows to streamline manual tasks and enhance operational efficiency. Identify opportunities to modernize endpoint management and explore AI-assisted tools to boost troubleshooting and engineering productivity.
Collaboration and Support:
Act as a primary escalation point for complex endpoint and infrastructure issues. Collaborate closely with NOC, Service Desk, security, and application teams to resolve problems, improve service delivery, and implement operational enhancements. Work with vendors to conduct root cause analysis and develop solutions.
Documentation and Standards:
Develop and maintain architectural diagrams, runbooks, and technical standards to ensure consistency within the team. Support onboarding and knowledge transfer for secondary staff members.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience managing Windows endpoints using SCCM/MECM, Intune, Intune co-management, and Autopilot in enterprise settings.
- Proven expertise in patching, compliance reporting, and endpoint security across hybrid on-premises and cloud environments.
- Experience managing macOS and iOS devices.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting, automation, and using AI-assisted tools to improve IT operations.
- Skilled in developing runbooks and technical documentation.
- Familiarity with enterprise ticketing systems for incident, service request, and change management.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across multiple teams.
- Proactive and organized approach to managing operational risks and driving continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with monitoring and remote support tools such as SCOM, Bomgar, or ControlUp.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow for incident and change management.
- Background working in regulated environments.
- Relevant certifications such as ITIL, SCCM/SCOM, or Azure.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
