Trader

We are seeking a skilled and motivated trader to independently execute trades across forex, commodities, and indices, focusing primarily on day trading and scalping strategies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily trading activities, ensuring all positions are closed by the end of each trading day, and submitting detailed performance reports. This role requires a disciplined approach to risk management and the ability to collaborate effectively with senior traders and research teams to optimize trading strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute independent trades in forex, commodities, and indices, emphasizing day trading and scalping techniques.
- Close all trading positions daily and provide accurate end-of-day performance reports to management.
- Take long-term positions only after obtaining prior approval from the Senior Trader.
- Develop and continuously refine short-term trading strategies by analyzing market structure, price action, and technical indicators.
- Monitor economic data releases, central bank announcements, and geopolitical developments to identify and capitalize on intraday trading opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with the research team to incorporate fundamental market insights into tactical trading decisions.
- Apply strict risk management protocols and ensure compliance with the firm’s trading rules and exposure limits.
- Work in partnership with analysts and senior traders to align short-term trades with the broader market outlook.
- Utilize trading platforms such as MT4, MT5, and other advanced terminals to execute trades efficiently.
- Prepare and present regular reports detailing trade outcomes, market trends, and risk metrics to senior management.
- Offer guidance and informal mentoring to junior traders as needed to support their development.

Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in executing independent trades across multiple asset classes, including forex, commodities, and indices.
- Strong understanding of day trading and scalping strategies with a disciplined approach to closing positions daily.
- Proficiency in technical analysis, including market structure and price action techniques.
- Ability to interpret and act upon economic data releases, central bank communications, and geopolitical events.
- Familiarity with trading platforms such as MT4, MT5, and other advanced trading terminals.
- Solid knowledge of risk management principles and compliance with trading rules.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with research teams, senior traders, and management.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare detailed performance and risk reports.
- Experience mentoring or guiding junior traders is a plus.
