Trainee React Native

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic unpaid trainee to join our remote-based team for a three-month period. This opportunity is ideal for candidates looking to gain hands-on experience in software development, particularly with React Native. The trainee will work Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, collaborating on projects that involve mobile app development and backend integration. This role offers a valuable chance to apply academic knowledge in a practical environment and develop skills that are highly relevant in today’s tech industry.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and maintenance of iOS and Android applications using React Native.
- Apply object-oriented programming principles to write clean, efficient, and reusable code.
- Participate in integrating RESTful APIs and third-party services to enhance app functionality.
- Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Contribute to database management tasks involving SQL and Firebase.
- Engage in problem-solving activities and logic building exercises to support project goals.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and React Native frameworks.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and data structures.
- Familiarity with SQL databases and Firebase for backend support.
- Proficiency in logic building, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Experience developing one or more iOS or Android applications using React Native.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Experience with RESTful API and third-party API integration is highly advantageous.
- Completion of a final year project using React Native will be considered a strong plus.
