Trainee React Native

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented unpaid trainee to join our remote team for a three-month period. This opportunity is ideal for candidates who have recently completed or are about to complete a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology and are eager to gain practical experience in software development. The role involves working Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and offers a chance to apply and expand your knowledge in a real-world environment focusing on mobile app development using React Native.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and maintenance of iOS and Android applications using React Native.
- Apply object-oriented programming principles to write clean, efficient, and reusable code.
- Collaborate with the team to integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services into mobile applications.
- Participate in problem-solving sessions and contribute to logic building and critical thinking exercises.
- Support database management tasks involving SQL and Firebase.
- Engage in learning activities to strengthen understanding of data structures and programming concepts.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and React Native frameworks.
- Strong grasp of object-oriented programming concepts and data structures.
- Familiarity with SQL databases and Firebase for backend integration.
- Proficiency in logic building, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Experience in developing one or more iOS or Android applications using React Native.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Experience with RESTful API and third-party API integration is highly desirable.
- Completion of a final year project using React Native will be considered a strong advantage.
