Translation Team Lead - TJ / 1885202

Our client, Dora Foods (Private) Limited, is seeking a skilled Translation Team Lead based in Faisalabad. This role is pivotal in facilitating effective communication between Chinese management, local staff, and government authorities, ensuring smooth operations within the company. The successful candidate will provide precise on-site interpretation and written translation services that align with the company’s Halal certification, food safety protocols, and export requirements. This position demands adaptability in communication styles to cater to workshop employees, buyers, and official inspectors.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide on-site interpretation across various settings including cattle yards, workshop production areas, equipment maintenance, staff training sessions, management meetings, and during official government inspections.
- Translate written materials such as contracts, business emails, and HR notices accurately between Chinese, English, and Urdu.
- Facilitate communication with regulatory bodies such as Pakistan Customs, the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), the Livestock Department, and industrial estate administration. Accompany officials during on-site verifications and inspections.
- Translate and ensure comprehension of factory safety regulations, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Halal production standards.
- Maintain and update the company’s bilingual terminology database, and systematically file and archive all translated documents for easy retrieval and reference.

Required Qualifications

Candidates should hold a diploma or higher qualification, preferably in Languages or Translation. However, those with relevant translation experience in Pakistani factories, slaughterhouses, or food processing plants may be considered even if their academic background does not strictly meet these criteria.
