Translation Team Lead - TJ / 1885202

Our client, Dora Foods (Private) Limited, is seeking a Translation Team Lead based in Faisalabad. This role is vital in facilitating effective communication between Chinese management, local staff, and government authorities, ensuring smooth operations within the company. The successful candidate will provide accurate on-site interpretation and written translation services, supporting the company’s adherence to Halal certification, food safety, and export standards. The role involves adapting communications for various stakeholders, including workshop staff, buyers, and official inspectors.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide on-site interpretation across multiple settings such as cattle yards, workshop production areas, equipment maintenance, staff training sessions, management meetings, and official government inspections.
- Translate written materials including contracts, business emails, and HR notices in Chinese, English, and Urdu.
- Facilitate communication with regulatory bodies such as Pakistan Customs, Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), Livestock Department, and industrial estate administration; accompany officials during on-site verifications and inspections.
- Translate factory safety regulations, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Halal production standards to ensure compliance and clarity.
- Maintain and update the company’s bilingual terminology database, as well as file and archive all translated documents systematically.

Required Qualifications

Candidates should hold a Diploma or higher qualification, preferably in Languages or Translation. Experience in translation within Pakistani factories, slaughterhouses, or food processing plants may allow for some flexibility regarding academic credentials.
