Transport Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated Transport Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive transportation studies, impact assessments, and feasibility reports to support infrastructure development and traffic management projects. This role involves analyzing traffic data, recommending improvements to enhance safety and flow, and ensuring projects are completed within budget and regulatory guidelines. The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate technical information clearly to both stakeholders and the public.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed transportation studies, impact assessments, and feasibility reports to evaluate project viability and effectiveness.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret traffic counts, accident data, and travel time studies to inform decision-making.
- Recommend improvements aimed at enhancing traffic safety and optimizing traffic flow.
- Monitor project budgets, timelines, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Attend public meetings to present transportation plans and proposals, addressing questions and feedback from community members and officials.
- Identify problems or deficiencies in current transportation systems and develop practical solutions to resolve them.
- Utilize computer software to run simulations and analyze test data for accurate forecasting and planning.
- Produce clear, comprehensive technical documentation to support project objectives and facilitate communication across teams.

Required Qualifications

- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Transport Engineering or an equivalent field.
- Superior computer skills, including proficiency with simulation software and data analysis tools.
- Strong analytical mindset with exceptional problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent written communication skills, capable of producing clear and thorough technical reports.
