Dawn Foods Corporation Limited is seeking a Transport Executive based in Lahore to oversee transportation planning, vehicle scheduling, dispatch operations, vendor management, documentation, and performance reporting. Key Responsibilities
- Vehicle Scheduling and Dispatch: Schedule vehicles and ensure timely dispatches by aligning transportation needs with available resources. This requires strong organizational skills to prevent delays that could disrupt distribution.
- Primary Transportation Planning: Manage the large-scale movement of finished products between manufacturing plants and distribution centers, ensuring an efficient flow of goods within the company’s network.
- Transport Compliance and Safety: Maintain adherence to company policies, transport regulations, permits, and safety standards. This includes accurate documentation of vehicles and transportation activities.
- Transport Vendor Management: Liaise with external transport vendors, review transport invoices, freight rates, and service-level agreements (SLAs). Experience working with third-party logistics providers and freight companies is valuable.
- Handling Delays and Operational Problems: Quickly resolve issues such as delivery delays, vehicle breakdowns, and route challenges. Strong problem-solving and coordination skills are essential to manage these situations effectively under pressure.
- Transport Records and Documentation: Maintain accurate records including trip sheets, fuel consumption data, vehicle documentation, and dispatch logs to monitor costs, utilization, and compliance.
- Reporting and KPIs: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on transport performance and key performance indicators to support management in evaluating efficiency and identifying areas for improvement.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Minimum 2–3 years of professional experience in transportation, logistics, fleet operations, dispatch, distribution, warehousing, or supply chain management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and KPI preparation.
- Experience with ERP or SAP systems for transport planning and operational reporting.
- Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a dynamic transportation environment.
