Transportation Service Coordinator

We are looking for a reliable and organized Transportation Service Coordinator to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for managing transportation arrangements, coordinating service schedules, and supporting daily transport operations to ensure smooth and timely delivery of services. The ideal candidate will possess strong planning and communication skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to effectively coordinate drivers, vehicles, customers, and service providers.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily transportation schedules, service requests, and vehicle assignments.
- Arrange transportation services based on customer needs and operational priorities.
- Maintain clear communication with drivers, dispatch teams, customers, and external service providers.
- Monitor vehicle schedules and transportation activities to guarantee timely service delivery.
- Respond promptly to inquiries, delays, cancellations, and scheduling changes.
- Keep accurate records of bookings, routes, vehicle assignments, and service completions.
- Assist with route planning and identify opportunities to enhance transportation efficiency.
- Oversee vehicle availability and coordinate routine servicing and maintenance schedules.
- Prepare transportation reports and track key performance indicators.
- Ensure all transportation activities comply with company policies and safety regulations.
- Support resolution of customer concerns and operational issues related to transportation.
- Collaborate with internal departments to improve service quality and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transportation Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in transportation coordination, logistics, dispatch, or customer service is advantageous.
- Strong scheduling, planning, and organizational skills.
- Good understanding of transportation operations and route coordination.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with transportation management systems is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple service requests and adapt to changing schedules.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
