Treasury Officer

ACE Money Transfer is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Treasury Officer to support the Payout Side Operations Lead in daily treasury activities. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in cash management, treasury controls, banking processes, and payout operations within a dynamic international payments environment. Working under close supervision, you will assist with various treasury functions, learning how to manage cash flow and financial operations efficiently. This position is ideal for individuals aspiring to build a career in treasury or financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

Cash, Liquidity & Funding Support:
You will monitor daily payout-side cash balances, funding needs, liquidity positions, foreign exchange (FX) deals, and wire settlements. Preparing and maintaining payout funding trackers for review will be part of your duties. You will assist in ensuring timely funding of payout accounts, adhering to bank and currency cut-off times. Tracking fund allocations to payout partners and flagging any pending or insufficient balances is essential. Additionally, you will support funding planning during weekends, public holidays, and periods of high transaction volume.

FX Deals, Wires & Settlements:
Your role includes monitoring pending FX deals, wire transfers, and settlements, following up with internal teams as directed. You will be responsible for identifying and promptly reporting settlement breaks, rejected transactions, data discrepancies, and other exceptions to ensure smooth operations.

Reconciliation & Record-Keeping:
Preparing payout-side reconciliation files along with supporting documentation for review and approval will be required. Maintaining accurate transaction confirmations, bank records, settlement evidence, and related documents is critical for compliance and audit purposes.

Reporting:
You will assist in preparing daily updates on payout funding, partner balances, settlement status, and pending items. Providing timely inputs for daily cash flow and payout cash requirement reports will support effective treasury management.

Controls, Compliance & Learning:
Adhering to maker-checker and four-eye control requirements in all assigned tasks is mandatory. You will follow approved treasury policies, procedures, controls, and escalation protocols while maintaining confidentiality of bank balances, payment data, rates, and other sensitive treasury information. This role offers the chance to develop a working knowledge of payout operations, bank funding, FX deal support, settlement processes, reconciliations, and reporting tools.

Required Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field is required. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. A basic understanding of banking, payments, cash management, or treasury operations is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with the ability to work accurately with data and reports is essential.

Preferred Skills and Attributes

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling numbers, records, and reconciliations is important. Being well-organized and able to maintain trackers and documentation systematically will help you succeed. Effective time management skills, especially in meeting deadlines around bank cut-off times, are necessary. Clear communication skills are required for following up with internal teams and escalating issues promptly. A high level of discretion in handling confidential financial information is expected. Above all, eagerness to learn and develop treasury knowledge under supervision is highly valued.

This position is based in Kharian, Pakistan, with working hours from 01:00 PM to 10:00 PM PKT.
