Truck Dispatcher

We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Truck Dispatcher to join our team in Islamabad. This full-time, onsite position operates during the night shift from 6:00 PM to 4:00 AM. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 4 years of experience in trucking and logistics, with a solid understanding of dispatch operations, load booking, route planning, and effective communication with drivers and brokers. The role involves coordinating daily trucking activities, securing loads, tracking shipments, and ensuring timely deliveries to maintain operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily dispatch operations and manage truck schedules efficiently.
- Source and book loads through load boards, brokers, and direct shippers.
- Negotiate rates with brokers and shippers to maximize profitability.
- Communicate clearly with drivers regarding load details, pickup and delivery schedules, and route instructions.
- Track shipments and monitor drivers throughout the delivery process to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure timely pickups and deliveries while promptly resolving any operational issues.
- Maintain regular communication with brokers, drivers, and customers to facilitate coordination.
- Handle rate confirmations, dispatch sheets, invoices, and other essential documentation accurately.
- Monitor market rates, load availability, and route profitability to optimize dispatch decisions.
- Keep precise records of loads, mileage, expenses, and delivery updates.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant transportation regulations.
- Provide regular updates to management on dispatch activities and overall performance.

Required Qualifications
- 2 to 4 years of experience in truck dispatching or logistics operations.
- Strong understanding of the US trucking industry and freight dispatching procedures.
- Practical experience using load boards such as DAT and Truckstop.
- Knowledge of equipment types including dry van, reefer, and flatbed is advantageous.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with drivers, brokers, and shippers.
- Familiarity with rate confirmations, Bills of Lading (BOLs), Proof of Delivery (PODs), and other dispatch documentation.
- Proficient command of English with professional communication abilities.
- Capacity to work under pressure and manage multiple loads simultaneously.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a results-driven approach.

Compensation
The monthly salary range for this position is Rs27,524.00 to Rs90,637.45, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
