We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Truck Dispatcher to join our expanding US-based Truck Dispatch Company. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in US truck dispatching, including load booking, rate negotiation, broker communication, route planning, and driver coordination. This role requires someone who can efficiently keep trucks moving while maximizing revenue and maintaining strong relationships with carriers and brokers.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and dispatch loads for US-based carriers and owner-operators, ensuring smooth operations.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with brokers, drivers, and customers to facilitate timely and accurate information exchange.
- Negotiate rates to secure profitable loads that align with company goals.
- Monitor driver schedules closely to guarantee timely pickups and deliveries.
- Maintain and nurture strong relationships with carriers and brokers to support ongoing business growth.
- Manage day-to-day dispatching activities efficiently, handling any challenges that arise promptly.
Required Qualifications
- Between 6 months to 1 year of practical experience in US Truck Dispatching is preferred.
- Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on negotiation.
- Good understanding of the US trucking market, including knowledge of major lanes and routes.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and make quick, informed decisions.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- A professional attitude combined with a results-driven approach to work.
Work Location
This position requires in-person attendance at the company’s office.
