Express Dispatch Services is seeking an experienced Truck Dispatcher to join our dynamic dispatch team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in truck dispatching, with strong skills in managing load boards, negotiating with carriers, and planning efficient routes. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily truck dispatch operations, including load assignment and route planning.
- Utilize load boards effectively to find and secure freight opportunities.
- Negotiate rates and terms with carriers to maximize profitability and service quality.
- Coordinate with drivers and carriers to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.
- Monitor shipment progress and resolve any issues that arise during transit.
- Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with the logistics team to optimize overall transportation efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in truck dispatching with a strong track record of success.
- In-depth knowledge of load boards and freight matching platforms.
- Excellent negotiation skills with carriers and freight providers.
- Solid understanding of routing, load planning, and logistics operations.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced dispatch environment.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Competitive compensation package including a basic salary plus commission, with total earnings up to 200,000 PKR.
