We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team in a dynamic logistics role focused on managing over-the-road (OTR) freight operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating shipments, negotiating freight rates, and maintaining strong relationships with carriers and clients. This position operates during evening hours and offers opportunities for growth within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Book and manage OTR loads with carriers and brokers efficiently.
- Coordinate shipments, pickups, and deliveries to ensure timely execution.
- Negotiate freight rates to maximize profit margins while maintaining competitive pricing.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and clients to support ongoing business needs.
- Track shipments closely and proactively resolve any operational issues that arise.
- Ensure accurate documentation and timely updates in the system for each load handled.
- Collaborate closely with dispatch and operations teams to maintain a smooth workflow and meet deadlines.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred, with a focus on Supply Chain or Logistics considered an advantage.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience, preferably in call center environments or logistics operations.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to effectively manage relationships and freight agreements.
- Ability to work night shifts (5:00 PM to 2:00 AM) and perform well under pressure.
- Basic understanding of OTR freight operations is beneficial but not mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- This is a full-time contract position with working days from Monday to Friday.
- Salary ranges from PKR 50,000 to 85,000 per month, commensurate with experience and skills.
