ABS International is seeking a Truck Dispatching Team Lead for its US campaign based in Gulistan-e-Johar Block 14, Karachi. This permanent, full-time, on-site role operates during the night shift from 6 PM to 2 AM. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in truck dispatching, freight brokerage, or US trucking logistics sales and be ready to lead a team actively involved in carrier acquisition, negotiation, and relationship management. This position requires a leader who works alongside their team on the floor, setting targets, coaching agents, and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
Drive carrier acquisition by targeting owner-operators, fleet owners, and independent truckers across the US market. Lead and coach a dispatching sales team by setting daily targets, reviewing calls, and developing individual performance. Negotiate dispatch fee structures and service agreements directly with carriers. Coordinate with the dispatch operations team to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients. Manage the sales pipeline using CRM tools and load boards such as DAT and Truckstop.com. Monitor freight market trends, lane activity, and competitor positioning to keep the team informed and competitive. Report team performance, forecasts, and pipeline health directly to senior management. Lead from the front by actively participating in campaign activities alongside the team.
Required Qualifications
A minimum of three years of hands-on experience in truck dispatching, freight brokerage, or US trucking logistics sales is essential. Proven experience in leading or supervising a dispatching or logistics sales team is required. Strong working knowledge of load boards, carrier onboarding processes, and regulatory basics including FMCSA and DOT is expected. Familiarity with CRM platforms and dispatch or Transportation Management System (TMS) tools is necessary. The ability to quickly build credibility with owner-operators and fleet owners by demonstrating a deep understanding of their business is critical. A formal degree is not required; relevant campaign experience and measurable results are prioritized.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
While specific benefits are not detailed, the role offers a market-competitive salary that reflects the seniority and industry expertise required. Full compensation details will be discussed with shortlisted candidates during the interview process. This position provides an opportunity to lead a dedicated team within a well-established company that has operated continuously since 2009 without interruption or payroll issues. ABS International manages all client relationships and campaigns directly without intermediaries, ensuring a transparent and stable work environment.
Candidates must be available to work the specified night shift hours on-site at the Karachi location. Experience with major load boards such as DAT and Truckstop.com is expected, and applicants should be prepared to discuss their specific experience with these platforms. Only candidates with direct truck dispatching or freight brokerage campaign experience will be considered.
Application Considerations
Applicants should be ready to answer the following during the application process:
- Do you have direct experience in truck dispatching, freight brokerage, or trucking logistics sales?
- How many years of sales management experience do you have within the trucking or logistics industry?
