UI/UX Designer

We are seeking a skilled UI/UX Designer to lead the design of passenger and driver mobile applications for a dynamic ride-hailing platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting seamless user experiences, from initial user journeys to high-fidelity interfaces, ensuring intuitive and engaging interactions across both Android and iOS devices. This role requires close collaboration with developers and product teams to deliver polished, user-centered designs that enhance the overall platform experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Design the complete user experience for both passenger and driver mobile applications, focusing on ease of use and engagement.
- Develop user journeys, user flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs that align with product goals.
- Create screens for ride booking, pickup and destination selection, fare estimates, driver matching, live tracking, payments, ratings, and trip history.
- Establish and maintain a consistent design system encompassing typography, color schemes, components, spacing, and reusable UI patterns.
- Utilize Figma to produce interactive prototypes and developer-ready design files that facilitate smooth handoffs.
- Design onboarding, registration, authentication, profile management, and notification workflows to ensure a cohesive user experience.
- Ensure intuitive navigation, accessibility, usability, and visual consistency across Android and iOS platforms.
- Conduct user research and usability testing, iterating designs based on feedback to optimize user satisfaction.
- Collaborate closely with Flutter developers to guarantee accurate implementation of design specifications.
- Prepare responsive layouts, icons, assets, interaction states, and detailed design documentation.
- Maintain high visual standards and consistent quality throughout the platform’s user interface.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 3 years of professional UI/UX design experience, with a strong focus on mobile applications.
- Proficiency in Figma, including advanced features such as components, auto layout, variants, and interactive prototyping.
- A compelling portfolio showcasing mobile app designs and a user-centered design approach.
- Solid understanding of mobile design patterns for both Android and iOS platforms.
- Experience designing complex, multi-step user flows and location-based applications.
- Strong grasp of usability principles, information architecture, typography, spacing, and visual hierarchy.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively with developers and stakeholders.
- Keen attention to detail with the ability to deliver polished, implementation-ready designs.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Experience designing applications related to ride-hailing, taxi booking, delivery, maps, or logistics.
- Familiarity with Material Design guidelines and Apple Human Interface Guidelines.
- Proven experience in building and maintaining scalable design systems.

Compensation and Work Location

The position offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs100,000 to Rs150,000. This is an in-person role, requiring the candidate to work onsite.
