We are a UK-based Chartered Accountancy firm specializing in accounting, taxation, and compliance services for businesses throughout the United Kingdom. Our team supports a diverse range of UK clients by delivering high-quality financial solutions through modern cloud accounting platforms. We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated UK Accountant to join our expanding Accounts Team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professionals with hands-on experience in UK accounting practices who wish to work directly with UK clients in a professional and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage bookkeeping for UK clients using cloud accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or FreeAgent.
- Prepare and finalize statutory annual accounts in compliance with UK standards.
- Prepare and submit Corporation Tax (CT600) returns accurately and on time.
- Compile monthly and quarterly management accounts to support client decision-making.
- Prepare and file Confirmation Statements and handle UK company incorporations along with related compliance matters.
- Prepare Personal Tax Returns (Self Assessment) for clients.
- Submit accounts and tax returns online to HMRC and Companies House.
- Review and supervise the work of junior accountants, providing guidance and mentorship.
- Undertake additional accounting and taxation assignments as required to meet client needs.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, ACCA, or a related field.
- 2 to 3 years of practical experience in UK accounting, preferably gained within a UK accountancy firm.
- Strong understanding of UK accounting standards, bookkeeping, VAT, Corporation Tax, and Self Assessment processes.
- Proficiency in cloud accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, FreeAgent, or similar platforms.
- Excellent written English communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience supervising and mentoring junior staff.
- Honest, committed, detail-oriented, and capable of meeting strict deadlines.
- Must be based in Islamabad/Rawalpindi or willing to relocate to this area.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience working within a UK accountancy firm is highly preferred, as it ensures familiarity with the specific regulatory environment and client expectations. The role is based in G-11 Markaz, Islamabad, with working hours from 11:30 am to 8:00 pm.
